Bulk Bitumen

Richmond together with their Iranian associates developed the export of bulk bitumen from Iran from a nascent state virtually from scratch to a level where it is now a major source of quality bitumen supplied in liquid form for markets ranging from U.A.E. to the Indian subcontinent, East Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands of Mauritius and Reunion.

Richmond also supplies Bulk Bitumen from refineries in Singapore and Thailand to discerning customers in China and India, on FOB and CIF basis and from Saudi Arabia and Bahrain to USAID projects in Afghanistan.

Richmond holds the distinction of being the pioneering supplier of Imported Bulk Bitumen to the extremely competitive Indian Market. This is testimony to Richmond's ingenious logistics solutions in developing markets.

After having supplied imported Bitumen to customers in the East Coast of India, Richmond became the first company to export Bulk Bitumen from a refinery in Eastern India. Similarly Richmond was the first to ship Bulk Bitumen from a Saudi Arabian Refinery on the Red Sea.

Richmond also supplies Bitumen Cutbacks (Rapid, Medium and Slow), Bitumen Emulsions (Anionic and Cationic) and other Bituminous Products conforming to international specifications.
